In the heart of Bruges, next to the historic brewery of Bruges, lies Gallery Guesthouse (formerly known as B&B Den Witten Leeuw). Our guesthouse consists of two houses, one dating back to 1570 and one dating back to 1797. The houses still have many old features and these are combined with modern day design and comfortable new furniture and beds. Downstairs we also host an art gallery. The breakfast room contains a cosy fireplace, a sunny conservatory and a veranda with view on the garden. Breakfast consists of several egg dishes, freshly pressed orange juice, freshly baked breads, croissants, danish, home-made jams, Belgian speciality cheeses, cold cuts of gammon, salami etc. We also provide fruit, yoghurt, cereals, fresh leaf tea ("English Breakfast") of high quality, fresh bean coffee and espresso and the possibility to make cappuccino or to ask for a hot chocolate (made from Belgian chocolate).
In the months July and August guests are welcome to use the pool in the garden. Our Guesthouse is non-smoking, smoking is possible on the porch outside.
All rooms have new high quality AUPING beds and have their own private bathroom with either shower or bath (or both). The budget room ("Garden") has it's own private bathroom too with walk-in shower, but it's on the other side on the corridor. Bath robes are available.
WIFI is available throughout the whole building. Two rooms (the Garden and the Walplein) have airconditioning (on demand 5+ euro).
We have two parking spaces, which are currently being restructured. There’s a public parking lot 50 metres from our B&B: Parking Oud Sint-Jan. The adress is: Zonnekemeers 18, 8000 Brugge. It's best accessible by entering the centre from the Central Station (Oostmeers). Then the second on your right is the Zonnekemeers, where the parking is halfway on your left. At the end of the Zonnekemeers lies the Walplein, where our B&B is.
