In the heart of Bruges, next to the historic brewery of Bruges, lies Gallery Guesthouse. Our guesthouse is very spacious; it consists of two town houses, one dating back to 1570 and the other one dating back to 1797. At the back is a renovated large garden with five different seating areas. The houses still have many old features and these are combined with modern day design and comfortable new furniture and beds. The lounge contains a cosy fireplace, a sunny conservatory and a veranda with view on the garden.
Our rooms have new high quality AUPING beds and have their own private bathroom with either shower or bath (or both). The budget room ("Garden") has it's own private bathroom too with walk-in shower, but it's on the other side on the corridor, private, but not ensuite. Bath robes are available to cross the hallway.
There's the possibility of having breakfast, our breakfast consists of freshly baked bread, croissant or danish, jam, chocolate spread, cheese, ham or chorizo, freshly pressed orange juice, there's also high quality fresh coffee and an assortment of teas. The breakfast is continental, but against a small extra charge we can provide you with an omelet or a fried egg. The breakfast is served in our lounge and sometimes in Tearoom Tonka, a lovely place at our same square (Walplein 18), just a few steps away. There a professional baker prepares the breakfast for you and when the weather allows it, you can enjoy your breakfast outside on a cosy, sunny indoor terrace. Breakfast is served between 09:00 and 10:30.
WIFI is available throughout the whole building. Two rooms (the Garden and the Walplein) have airconditioning (on demand 5+ euro).
